Performance at the museum of broken relationships, actors centre, Covent Garden. With Lina Lunacris, Federico and Andres Anguita. Created by Outside Puppets Company.
For this performance we created a theme and site specific performance responding to the exhibition’s idea and inspiration of broken relationships.
“The thinker” is the story of how the wounded ego must hide everything we believe that is unacceptable about ourselves; to fulfill this task the ego builds a mask to prove the rest that we don’t have so many defects. Through masks, rod puppets, muppets, giant puppets, the blending of the body with life size puppets, physical theatre, music and visual arts, the thinker is a multi sensorial experience.
This show was created by the Outside Puppets Company, an inclusive puppet company created by Andres Anguita, from which I am a member since it first came to life. From its base at the Crisis Skylight puppetry workshops the company has grown up and out to establish itself has a group of people that coming from different backgrounds, here join forces to create and experiment with puppets has a starting point.

Crossings, tide changes, looks, talks and stories. From one side to another lays a short but heavy distance.
Cross 1 > I imagine the other’s story and the other imagines my story. In the end we swap stories and the other goes away.

Cross 2 > To stop when all moves, not seeing when most is visual. Push the tide and create new forms.

“You can’t evict an idea”. Photos from day 1 at Occupy London in St Pauls Cathedral.
Back in May d went to Portugal to exhibit the RevoLOOtion artwork, coincidence or not, those were the first days of the “Spanish Revolution” and d joined them in Lisbon for the first “Yes We Camp” at Rossio. It was an enriching experience and since it was dissolved ds been looking for ways to practice some of the thoughts that bloomed there. Meanwhile d came back to London just on time to join the first day at Occupy London!
